BACK TO SCHOOL 2+3: APPS & NOTES INSPO

Sigo aquí! Sé que he estado perdida por el ultimo mes y que les debo la parte 2 y 3 de regreso a clases, y que deberían haber estado ya en blog desde hace cuatro semanas, es por eso que he decidido hacer una entrada 2x1!

I know I been missing -as always- for the last month or so, but here I am again! I know I owe you chapter 2 and 3 of the back to school series and that they should have been up on the blog since four weeks ago, that's why I decided to do a kind of 2x1 post!

SCHOOL APPS

Utilizo muchas apps para mantenerme organizada, ya sea para cosas de la escuela o para mi rutina diaria, como mi rutina de ejercicio o salidas con mi familia o amigos. Además, tengo otras aplicaciones que me ayudan a estudiar y concentrarme más.

I use several apps to get organized, and I'm not only talking about school related tasks but also about personal stuff, like my workout routine, appointments or things like that. Also, I have some other applications that help me to study or keep track of my time while I do homework.

-Cal
-DigiCal

Estas dos aplicaciones te permiten organizar tus actividades diarias, es donde agendo mis sesiones de ejercicio, compromisos, entre otros. Aunque amo ambas aplicaciones, tiendo a utilizar un poco mas DigiCal, ya que en ésta puedo ver el día por horas y donde inicia y termina cada tarea, así como los espacios con tiempo libre, así que para mi, una persona que tiende a trabajar mejor con las cosas visuales, es mucho mas sencillo organizarme.

These ones let you organize everything, is where I schedule my workout sessions, appointments, etc. Although I love both of them, I tend to use DigiCal more often than Cal, because on DigiCal I can see the days by hours, and therefore is easier for me to look for my free time or to get better organized; what I'm trying to say is that it is a little bit more graphic, and I tend to work better with visual stuff.

-Any.do
-Google Keep

Solo puedo decir que estas dos son esenciales para mi; en estas apps hago listas, como de las cosas que tengo que hacer o comprar, notas, recordatorios, y otras cosas. Por ejemplo, en Google Keep puedo guardar cosas como links o imágenes, que me ayuden a a recordar ideas o cosas por el estilo.

These Apps are essential for me! They let me take quick notes, to-do lists -with their respective reminders-. But on Google keep you can also save links, photos and so much more, that let you put your thoughts onto kinda electronic post-it notes.

-Student Agenda

Esta es una app para organizar cosas de la escuela, como mi horario, tareas, actividades, proyectos, calificaciones, cuando necesito devolver un libro a la biblioteca, o cosas por el estilo.

In here I just have school stuff, like my schedule, the subjects I'm taking this semester, homework, coursework, projects, when I need to return a book or stuff like that.

-Cram

Esta app es perfecta para estudiar! En ésta puedes crear flashcards y hay tres formas en las que puedes estudiarlas. La primera es de la manera tradicional, es decir, de un lado tienes la palabra o pregunta y del otro el concepto o respuesta. La segunda forma, es muy parecida a la primera, solo que en ésta es como si subieras de nivel con cada cierto número de respuestas correctas. Y el tercer modo te permite estudiar por medio de juegos!

This is just perfect for studying! In this app you create flashcards and there are 3 modes for studying them. One is like the old-fashion way, where you have a side of the card and on the other side, you have, for example, the meaning of the word, or the answer to a question. The second one is just like the first one but on this mode you kind of level up every time you learn a certain number of cards. And the third mode lets you study by playing games! I mean how awesome is that?

Han oído hablar del entrenamiento por intervalos? Bueno, esta app te permite hacer algo similar, tienes sesiones y descansos, y puedes escoger cuanto va a durar cada una. Creo que en realidad puedes darle varios usos a esta aplicación, pero yo prefiero utilizarla para sesiones de estudio, como cuando hago mi tarea; creanme que esta app hace maravillas, si tiendes a procrastinar no te arrepentirás de descargarla.

Have you heard of interval training? Well, this app lets you do something very similar, you have sessions and breaks, and you can choose how long each one is gonna be. I think you can give several uses to this app, but I prefer to use it for study sessions, like when I do my homework; believe me, this app does wonders, especially if you tend to procrastinate sometimes [not that I know something about that haha].

NOTES INSPO

Hemos llegado a la segunda parte de esta entrada; sé que aveces puede llegar a tornarse difícil -si no es que imposible- entender lo que tu profesor este diciendo mientras intentas anotar todo, sin decir que trates de tomar notas bonitas. Es por eso que en clases tomo notas rápidas las cuales, bueno, tienden a verse mas como jeroglíficos; y en mis tiempos libres entre clases o cuando llego a mi casa, las paso a limpio, al estilo studyblr. Así que, he aquí unas cuantas fotos de mis notas, espero que les sirvan de inspiración.

We have arrived to the second part of this post; I know is hard to understand what the professor is saying while you try to take notes of everything, not to say to try to make them pretty as well. That's why I take quick ugly notes at classes and when I have free time in between classes or when I arrive home, I transform them to beautiful notes, or at least I try hahah.
